Default [Done v1.3.8] IP Address is not being passed to authorize.net (AIM) module

IP Address is not being passed to authorize.net (AIM) module

A policeman gave me a call today for information on a fraudulent purchase. The transaction was declined by my cc processor so I didn't have the IP address that an order would give me. It appears on the transaction information that the IP address can be collected at the transaction time and is not currently happening. Because of this I might have to request one of Zen Cart's certified hosts to get involved with digging the IP address out of my log. Would be great for all if the IP can be sent with the other information.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure which version of the AIM module you're using, but the customer's IP address is definitely collected and passed as part of the transaction data if you're using the current version of Zen Cart, presently v1.3.8a.

If your server's configuration has the IP data blocked or masked in some way, then of course, that info cannot be passed. But, if the IP is normally seen in your order history, then it's equally available to and used by the AIM module when it submits transactions for processing.
