I renamed googlesitemap.php and set in Google Webmaster:
    domain/googlesitemap.php?inline=yes
It worked flawlessly, I am no longer getting warnings about same priority.
Anyway, I am reading the posts.
Will continue to test throughout the week and report anything unusual I find.

Do not see any sense in this.
OK - maybe I misunderstood the purpose of Zen Cart's sitemap. Is it there only for the site visitor to get a high-level view of what's on the web site?

Or is it there to also give hints to search engines (just as the sitemaps.org protocol does)?

In other words, why have two site maps? What is the purpose of having two, out-of-sync (with each other), site maps?

Why? What is the purpose of this experiment? Why not use the normal address http://your_domain/index.php?main_pa...ml&inline=yes?

Thank you. I am not familiar with the history of osCommerce and Zen Cart and their design considerations, thus my questions of which some may sound silly. I just needed to understand the conceptual difference between these two sitemaps and you helped me confirm my understanding. Thank you.

    Because I screwed up.
Looking at the old syntax: googlesitemap.php I typed sitemapxml.php and Google threw error.
So I went back to old syntax and everything fine.
Now I will try your syntax.
    Thanks.

I have just tried to add this and got this message when uploading the SQL patch

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'true', 'false'),')' at line 1
    in:
    [INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES (NULL, 'Compress XML File', 'SITEMAPXML_COMPRESS', 'false', 'Compress Google XML Sitemap file', @configuration_group_id, 1, NOW(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array('true', 'false'),');]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

What have I done wrong? What should I do??
