Please help - redirection not working

I'm using the current version of zencart - in admin it says there are no upgrades.

I developed my shop on a wamp environment on my PC before uploading it to my host Strato. I did as the tutorials told me, and copied my database over. Fixed the cache with the handy tool and I've been able to work on it further without problems.

I'm getting close to going live, and I wish to redirect my domain. Currently my shop is at www.artisansoap.co.uk/soapshop - I thought it would be best to hide it a little until it is almost ready to go. Well, I'm ready to move it, and my host will allow a local redirection so that typing www.artisansoap.co.uk will point to the /soapshop subdirectory.

When I do this however, I encounter two problems

1. All the formating of my page has gone.
2. I can't log into my admin account - it can't find the page.

I've read lots of tutorial stuff (I even understood SOME of it) and I've tried searching the forum for the same problem. I'm sure something there told me what I need to do - but I didn't get it .

Please can someone tell me in easy-speak what I need to do? Referring me to read the tutorials will only confuse me more (I tried already ).

I've sorted it

For the next person stuck with this, I changed a couple of things in the configuration.php file.

They were these
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/soapshop/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/soapshop/');


To

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

Seems to have worked...

I spoke too soon

On trying to get into my admin I get the following error mesages
Warning: include(includes/configure.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mnt/web4/33/67/52083067/htdocs/soapshop/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 61

HELP!!!

Make sure both the files:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

have all of the appropriate changes made to them ...

Thanks for the update that you were able to get your Zen Cart Admin up and running with the proper corrections and configuration of your configure.php file in the:
/admin/includes/configure.php

on the server ...
