Cheapest Item Free?

I've searched through the sale maker threads and not found an answer to this.

I'd like to offer my customers the option of buying say 4 different items and getting the cheapest free.
Quantity discounts don't really work for this as my customers are purchasing digital scrap kits and thus will only ever be buying ONE of any given item.

This is not built into Zen Cart at this time but you might look in the Free Software Add Ons for various discounts add ons and see if this type of discount isn't one of them ...

Scott Wilson (swguy) is good at this sort of thing. He's likely to charge a fee to help you, but I've used Scott in the past and his work is very good and his fees are reasonable.

Scott has something that will do the job, unfortunately right now it's out of my price range - but maybe in the future.
