Adding an Image to Main Page

Hi i have gone through the FAQ and searched google for help with this.

I wish to add an image to my main page, under the welcome would you like to login text.

I have ftp the JPG image up to public_html\includes\images.

I have then used the defien apge editor in html mode and cliced the inser pick.

no matter what cobination i use the system will not locate the image. i have used http://stonetogo.co.uk/images/image_name.jpg

I have enve tried ftp the file to the tamplates\classic\images\ folder and pointing to this directory but again it dont find it.

Any ideas?

Still no go nor working why it we can't browse to a local file and the system uploads it is beyond me.

The link would be like this http://stonetogo.co.uk/images/stock_yard_500.jpg

if the image is in

/public_html/images/stock_yard_500.jpg

But, it is not, check the file name and try the correct link

I totally agree it should be this, if you click the example you have given you should link to the image and it should be shown in your browser and if you try u will see the same error i get when i try to preview, i have even changed from JPG to GIF but no change..

I don't beleive it Melanie i have fixed it would you believe its was a upper and lower case issue;

the file is Stock_Yard_500.gif

I was putting stock_yard_500.gif

OMG go figure...
