Coupons won't delete or activate

Hi there!

I spent about 15 minutes searching and browsing and couldn't find an answer so here goes:

I have created a few different coupons. Some that I deleted. We'll, I went to set up a new one with the same coupon code and it said it already existed. So i found the deactivated coupons. Okay, how do I reactivate them? I have tried changing the date, that doesn't do it.

Do I have to go into MySQL admin to do it?

You would have to go into the database tables as coupons are not deleted but rather deactivated to prevent using the same code again ...

I had same problem, is there any way we can use the same coupon code again?

Discount Coupons are designed that once "deleted" they are "flagged" to not be used again ...

If you cannot create a new Discount Coupon because you need/want to use the same coupon redemption code, then you have to manually change this by editing the database table ...

In phpMyAdmin, that should be available for your domain in your site's Control Panel, you need to find the database that is used for your site ...

The database name can be found in your file:
/includes/configure.php

If you look at that database you will see the coupons table ...

Browse the coupons table and find the coupon you want to turn back on, and you can change the field:
coupon_active

from N to Y ...
