problem with home page

I'm still trying to figure out how to direct customers to my zencart through the current domain that's setup. right now once you get to mysite.com/zencart/index.php ; if you click on 'Home' it takes customer to a /zencart page that is a text page, like the files. shows parent direct, admin, etc. what did I do here?

And how to I change from www.mysite.com/zencart to just www.mysite.com. In other words if one was to enter my domain address, how do they get to the zencart pages without me having to add a link or page under Site Studio with Hostgator?
