Cannot log into Admin

Hi All

We recently changed our host account name, still the same domain and same host, just the account name was changed.

So, where before the old host path was, /hsphere/local/home/xxxOLDxxx/oliveoilstore.co.uk

it has now changed to /hsphere/local/home/xxxNEWxxx/oliveoilstore.co.uk


Now, I cannot log into the admin area.

I have tried the SQL "Admin" update and also the "resend password" option but again the password does not work.

Im considering dropping the database and doing a fresh install but not sure it would still work ?

Any help would be great.....

Did you change the two configure.php files to reflect this change in:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

Yes I double checked and all is fine. I have just run the zc_install again to update the config files just in case but still have the same result.

I requested a new password too but does not work.

Hosting company said all should be fine now but its not !, customers cannot log in, and neither can we ! not good.

Could you post, from the server, without your username and password, the files:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

See if you have an .htaccess file and if so, rename it .htacccess_HIDE

It looks like something is redirecting your site when accessing the site ...

I cant seem to find a .htaccess file..... Which folder should it be in, root or admin ?

I'd start in the root then look in the /admin ...

NOTE: some FTP programs are not setup to see files like .htaccess

You may need to go to your Control Panel and the Filemanager and be sure that it is setup to see all files ...

Thanks for the info, sorry for the delay. Im working on my own and my wife is expecting our 2nd child any time now so not had much time.

I had a look at the the sites dir's and appears to see a .htaccess file but it looks like its a folder ?

Sorry not really sure about this side of things. If you have some spare time would you mind taking a quick look if I PM'd you ftp details.. ?
