Default SEO turned on with faulty links

    hi,

I turned on SEO on admin of my zen-cart powered shop. Everything turned into html, but all the links to my products display 404 error when clicked. Is there anyway to sort this out? I really want to do everyting I can to push up my page rank.

    Many thanks

    Hi Kim,

I am using the v1.3.8 zen cart, there are no specific information on the SEO page, I access that page in admin under configuration. Is this information help?

Oh, by the way. I have been reading a lot of stuff on the web about SEO. It's turning everying into static pages would help optiomisation?
I guess now days search engines get much more clever, so is that still matter having dynamic pages?

Many thanks for any suggestion and helps

If you turned on an SEO switch in the Zen Cart Admin that you did not add in yourself - TURN IT OFF

There is virtually no need to install and configure these SEO modules anymore. These days, as more and more sites use dynamic, database-driven systems, the search engines are now built to trawl these sites very effectively.

Thnak you kim and thank you schooldboy,

I think I will take the advise and keep SEO turned off. I think is old school to have everything static anyway. Google is more clever than I think.

    Thank you once again
