Maintenance

When I am customizing the zencart shop and try to use web maintenance tool, the webpages which are in customizing stage wouldn't show anything except maintenance page.

Cubecart has one feature that allows me to design pages and view the pages while I am logged in admin. If I am not logged in admin, I won't be able to view design on pages.

Is there such a feature like that for zencart?

Yes, in the area where you turned on the Maintenance mode - Add your IP to allow access.

thank you. admin>web maintenance>Down for Maintenance IP - I input my IP address but I still couldn't see the pages even though I logged in admin.

I am not sure why it is not working

and plug in the IP it says you have.

i already checked ip address. i tested the website a few minutes later after posting previous post.

it works fine but the pages are viewable whether logged in admin or not. Just can see the "NOTICE: This website is scheduled to be down for maintenance on" at top. I wanted the maintenance page to be displayed (not logged as admin) and I also want the design to be viewable while logged in admin. Seems like I missed something?

I tried to fiddled around in config >> web maintenance. Nothing like a maintenance page appears.

Oh duh me. I finally make maintenance page apear after removing ip. then add ip again and tested to see if I can see design changes - it works.

I would like to remove breadcrumb on maintenance page - i know i could turn it off under admin>config>layout setting but i still want breadcrumbs for other pages except homepage and maintenance.

So is there any way to remove breadcrumb for maintenance page?
