    Default Two rookie questions, couldn't find answers in the search

    Hello Everyone!!
    I hope everyone is enjoying their Weds. Before asking, I did look in the search and in the tutorials and made the changes but I still can't get these two things to work.

    1. If you go to my contact page :

    http://www.shopshogun.com/index.php?...age=contact_us

    You'll see that I have it going to support. I am using an auto responder for that account, but when you submit through the form it doesn't appear to do anything. I am not sure where I am missing the step. My auto email is working properly [email protected]

    2. How on earth do you set the dates for new products? It keeps showing me stuff that was added ages ago as new. I am about to just turn that box off.

    Thank you all for your help, this is a great forum!!

    2. Go to Admin/Configuration/Maximum Values/New Product Listing...Limited to and set the time limits for new products.

    Thanks so much for responding, I don't think I worded my question correctly, and I am sorry for that. I was more wondering on how it picks "WHATS NEW" like where does it get the info from?

    Also, if ANYONE could PLEASE help me with the email form, it would be amazing! I am having a brutal time getting this thing to send properly.

    As TShooters said, go to admin>configuration>maximum values>New Product Listing - Limited to ...

    Limit the New Product Listing to
    0= All Products
    1= Current Month
    7= 7 Days
    14= 14 Days
    30= 30 Days
    60= 60 Days
    90= 90 Days
    120= 120 Days

    Thank you sir! Thanks makes alot of sense. I am still having trouble with the contact page. At this point, if I can't properly fix the form, does anyone know how to turn off the contact us form box?

    I don't use this feature, but just throwing this out there to maybe help.

    Looks like you're using the Set "Contact Us" Email Dropdown List
    in your Admin/Configuration/Email Options. Do you have the full
    email address there, eg: [email protected]?

    Okay...after checking in my handy-dandy E-Start book,
    it shows multiple addresses should be entered in the
    Set "Contact Us" Email Dropdown List like:

    Support <[email protected]>, Other <[email protected]>, More <[email protected]>

    TShooters -

    That's how I have it set up, still nothing. At this point I think I'd rather just kill that form, any ideas how?

    Hi ShopShogun,

    Do double-check the values and format for the field that TShooters pointed out.

    Make sure you do not have a trailing comma (,) at the end of the last entry or two or more commas (,) separating each entry.

    E.g. correct way:

    Support <[email protected]>, Other <[email protected]>, More <[email protected]>

    E.g. wrong way:

    Support <[email protected]>,, Other <[email protected]>, More <[email protected]>

    E.g. wrong way:
