I am not sure which category this topic should go to, but I apologize.
I would like to know if it is possible to turn off "what is new" for sub-page (it will be shown on homepage only). Also, I would like to know where I go to make the thumbnail bigger than just 80 x 60? I wanted it to be 120 width x blank in height, so the images for "what is new" on homepage will show a little bigger size than thumbnails.

Have fiddled around and looked around in tutorial, but no way for me to make both work.
