Need help with stylesheet - Need to delete the categories

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm trying to locate on the stylesheet where I can delete the categories that are showing in the orange section across my website under the logo. (website below)

I would like to keep the box as I'm going to be adding something different but just want to delete the categories as they don't really need to be there.

Also how do I remove the large space above the "New Products" so that the top can be aligned with the Categories side box on the left.
