IH2 Image Handler 2 Won't Resize Main Image

I've posted this a couple of times in the IH2 'support thread' but I never seem to get a response there, so sorry but maybe I'll get a better response in the main forum.

I'm trying to figure out how to apply the IH2 maximum image size setting to the main image as opposed to just the additional images?

Just to explain, I have all my main images uploaded at 700px wide by 1050px high. Which in hindsight is too large for most screens.

So, I set IH2 in admin to IH large image maximum width 550 and
IH large image maximum height 825.

Now, when I click on additional images, they open at the 550x825 dimensions. HOWEVER, when I click on the main product image, it is still coming up as 700x1050.

Anyone know why the additional images are obeying the IH2 admin settings, but the main image is not?

Yes
It does the same thing with the large image that is default with Zen Cart

Hmmm, I guess I'll take a look at the PHP and see if there's anything obvious in the code that makes it apply specifically to the additional images. Maybe I'll be able to take it and add it into the tpl_modules_main_product_image.php ?
