Is there a way to set all downloaded files to Downloadable status instead of Pending?

I have a company that does custom printing and we also sell products. Right now I have a "Downloadable Template" Order Status. I also have it setup so the client can download the file right away. The issue im having is that I have to manually set the order status of the "Pending" downloaded product to "Downloadable Template" (organization)

Is there a way to setup any downloaded files to "Downloadable Template" status and keep the ability to download right away from checkout?

To clarify, is the downloadable template free?

If it is then you perhaps want to look at payment-modules - payment

In the zen free charge card bit ( i have got that name slightly wrong I am sure! ) edit the options. One of the options, lets you set the order status to delivered.

The options are in the admin section:

admin - modules - payment

Select:
"The Zen Cart FREE CHARGE CARD"

Click on EDIT.

Thank you, that worked. I had to do a couple extras but worked perfect. I changed the status of FREE CHARGER to my custom made status of "DOWNLOADABLE TEMPLATE". Than I did Config, Atttribute Settings and made downloadable items value the same as STATUE #.
