comment types

We currently allow our customers to enter comments for their order when we collect shipping information. These comments can range from private messages like "please ship with order 123456" or they may be delivery instructions like "if no one home, please leave at Number 31".

Firstly, is there a facility to allow the user to enter two lots of comments (as above) ?
And if so, can we then distinguish between them in the database and be able to extract these from the database to print outside of Zen Cart (we currently have a separate packing system that hooks into the MySQL database).

Any help most welcome.

I'm thinking of porting the following oscommerce contribution to Zen-Cart.
