blank page on sumbit! PHP errors? fresh install!

Hi all

Just done a fresh install, changed a few template files. I am seeing a blank page on submit after creating a new account, and another when changing account details. There might be more but that's all I've come across so far.

Followed debugging instructions and now instead of a blank screen I am seeing this (index.php?main_page=account_edit) -

I have not touched any of the files mentioned. I did change some wording in the english.php file but nothing major. Tried removing the blank lines at bottom of certain language files, that seems to have fixed this problem for others but not me.

WHATS GOING ON?!?!?!

PS. i just noticed another blank page after logging out, AND loggin in! it seems any account action returns this blank page. aargh!! I haven't even created any products yet!!!!
