Login problem - IE8

Now when I try to login in IE 8 as a returning customer, I get bumped back to the home page like I never tried to login.

Everything works fine in Firefox.

Any ideas?

Can I please know what issue was resolved here? I am having an issue with IE8. After installing the latest browser from MS, my test user account cannot login to my site at www.mermagica.com.

When a customer signs in, the links at the top of the store still say Sign In. When a customer goes to add a product to their cart it asks them to Sign In only to ask again and again, etc.

I will try to see if another computer running IE8 behaves the same way. I realize that as of May IE8 only had 5% of the browser market, but that %age is increasing fast and I don't want to risk sales as a result of IE8 incompatibility.

Any help is appreciated.
