Default Need big-time help! Scripts using too much CPU???

My site is www.doodlebuckets.com Ignore the one in my sig, please :)

I have been notified by my host that they have put some kind of hold on my site, limiting it to one process at a time. I don't even know what that means but I get a blank page with a message saying "limited to one process" when I go there sometimes. They say that my scripts (whatever that means) are using too many CPUs but that it's not related to my traffic (traffic is down, not up anyway). Here is what they sent to me:

"Our statistics show that CPU usage for your account is causing an issue with the overall stability of the system. Note that this does not directly relate to traffic your account generates. The scripts execute on the server side, while traffic is related to data exchange between hosts.

We cannot detect particularly which scripts under your account are taking too long to execute; as such, we cannot advise why they may not have been a problem in the past, but are a serious issue now.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you any other means to resolve the matter on our end."

What the heck is going on? I haven't changed my site in a year or so and traffic is actually down and they can't answer for me what this is all of the sudden a problem...PLEASE HELP! What the heck is going on with my site??? They even put lines in my .htaccess file to stop all bots so that yahoo and google can't crawl, but I commented those out to keep the bots coming that are indexing my site.

    Yea, I see. That stinks.

Did you check your files for any of the nasties going around?

If all is well, I'd pack it up and get a new host.

I'm not having any problem in IE7 or IE8.

In FF3, I got (once) a message that your security certificate expired on 4/30/2009. The rest of the time it works OK.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I would also recommend a change to a Zencart certified host.

I got the warning message (small narrow box in center of screen) after just two mouse clicks. Using FF3 but I really doubt one browser would be better than another as far as back end goes..

It's simple really. Not easy, but simple:
If a clean uncustomized install doesn't have any problems, then something's busted on your site. So, compare your site against a clean uncustomized install and fix whatever differences are causing problems. Simple. Lotsa work though.
