want to add php code in define_main_page.php

Hi All,

Can any one suggest how to add php code in
define_main_page.php file?
I want to use upload class API to facilitate users to upload their file.
I tried doing that using Admin->Tools->Define Pages Editor
and used HTMLarea to add php code with <?php ..?> tag...but that
does not work it shows the entire code on the homepage instead
of executing it

Is there a specific reason why you want them to have the ability to upload a file on the main page?

This is a built-in function for product attributes - which is generally the only time you would want users to post a file.
