We are having a very recent (twice that we know of in last two weeks) problem where a customer evidently completes an order and submits for payment, we get paid, but we don't receive notification of a sale. The sale shows up in the recover cart area, but not the completed sales. Also, the next sale will be assigned the order number of the previously incomplete sale.
We have made no changes to the cart in over a year. It has been rock solid. The hosts server has not been changed since December 2008.
I think it has to due with failure of the cart to receive the successful response from the merchant. Our merchant is Merchant Anywhere (PRI Merchants).
I am looking for help in determining the reason for the failed sales.
We have changed the cart to catalog status until this issue is cleared up.
