getting 404's on easypages and other

I am trying to create an easy page...but something in the zencart processing is interfering with it I think. I noticed that I cannot seem to open up ezpages after creating them, I get a 404. Well, that is an inconvenience, but there is something more important I wanted.

I am splicing into a wordpress loop into a new zencart page to display my wordpress posts inside my zencart template. I created a file...
includes/templates/CUSTOM/templates/tpl_changes_default.php.

Thinking that I would be able to access this file with the url....
http://new.purebulk.com/index.php?main_page=changes

but it tosses up a 404, I've been greppin the other pages all day and I can't figure out anywhere where they are defined...can someone who has an intimate knowledge of zencart please give me a hint which files/processes I should look into to begin troubleshooting this? I feel like the two issues are probably connected, and I am wondering if it has anything to do with the SSU mod I installed(but can't remove at the moment). I would greatly appreciate any input you might have!

Have you seen the wordpress on ZenCart module?
The support thread is long but the user Bumba has some additional code posted that square several things

I have not yet Cobra, I will go look at it, but primarily, I want to learn how those damn templates/tpl_login_default.php etc pages are created, and how they are loaded properly so I can make my own, or if creating it is all that I should have to do, I want to know what is wrong with my install.

also i can't use any easypages either, they do the same thing?

Not exactly - defines pages are files based and ezpages are contained in the DB

Try creating an ezpage and enter in the internal link block

index.php?main_page=site_map

Which is that part of the url that is represented after and in red i.e.

http://www.your_domain.com/index.php?main_page=privacy

Or you can enter the body code of an html page in the editor, etc
