Free Shipping (For Select Customers)

Hi,

I currently have a store configured so that there is a set shipping fee for orders below a certain amount, orders above this amount get FREE SHIPPING.

I want to ensure a select group of customers get FREE shipping all the time also, does anybody know the best way to go about this ?

I don't believe there are any build in option in ZenCart for that. You will have to modify the shipping module. The logic where it checks if the order value > X add the condition to even check is the customer meets certain criteria.

Are you trying to set this up for known existing customer or for all customers, including new ones that signup with certain conditions?
