Problem with Column Layout Grid for Product Listing

Hi there,

I am trying to install Column Layout Grid for Product Listing from the free add ons - but its not working when I set it up. Is it something incorrect with the PHP/set up or is it missing some css?

Should be in a 3 column grid:

I am able to get the add on to work in other templates, just not this one. What should I check for? The files are identical, so I am not sure whats going on.

i think i am having similar issue with this site (testing installation):

i have installed the column layout grid, run the sql query, set the product listing settings to columns and 3 columns, etc. i have scoured this site for similar issues AND this was the only post i could find with the closest issue to my own.

just like your original issue, my mod works with classic template but not my customized template. i have checked and rechecked everything and it seems like my columns should be working and aren't. i am hoping that i misnamed the same folder maybe? which folder was it that you misnamed? i am hoping against all hope that it is the same one for me. LOL.

additionally someone suggested that it might be single columns hard coded into my template ??? HOWEVER i didn't actually do anything of the sort that i remember, BUT who knows ?? but in that listing, no mention of how i might fix this was included, so… does anyone know where i would check for this? if i can find it, i might actually be able to stumble onto a fix.

When you renamed the YOUR_TEMPLATE folders in the mod files, did you name them 'wholesomecart"?

It would be almost impossible to hard-code a single column by accident.

You might try re-uploading the mod folders and files.

OK yes i've tried deleting and reuploading the mods again without luck

as far as names i followed the instructions as closely as possible. the folder in the includes/modules folder is named "wholesomtemplate," the same as my template folder name AND the folder inside of the includes/templates/wholesomtemplate folder (which is my template folder) was named "templates" just as it appears in the instructions and the directory structure of the mod files themselves. AND as i said before it works if i use a different template, like the classic template, just not my customized template.

something just occured to me.

i notice that the column setting show up in the product listing settings, which i assume apply to the product listings within each category. could this be the problem? i want to use this mod for the main categories i have set to show up on the main page not just the product listings within each category. am i using this mod wrong? if so, would it be possible to use with the categories at all? again thanks for any help.

do you know of anything that will provide a grid for the main page categories? thanks.
