Center box not displaying products correctly

Well, I hope someone can help as ive been banging my head against a wall!

Basically, i have center boxes on my homepage and i want them to display 5 products on a row and 10 products in total per box.

I set this up in admin in the index listing setting them all to:

New Products Columns per Row: 5 and the same for specials and features

In the admin and max values ive set Maximum Display of Specials Products - Main Page - 5 and the same for the others.

But when i go to my site is displays three on the first row, then 1 product on the second row and a further 1 on teh third row.

I thought the products must be too wide for the site so i canged it to 4 per row, still does exactly the same, but it seems to work perfectly with 6 per row.

Can anyone advise?

A link to your site would help. In my stock Zencart test site with demo products installed, when I change New Products Columns per Row from the default 3 to 6, it places 6 on the row, even they're all jammed up and overlapping, so the function works.

Have you tried switching to the 'classic' template to see if it works there?

changing 3 to 6 isn't a problem at all, if i change it to display 4 or 5 per row it messes up and will only display 3 and pushes the others to the next row.

Ive tired it on classic and it does the same thing :s

5 and 4 work fine for me here, too.
