Images wont appear

I have a problem with images being previewed after setting up the product. It doesn't happen all the time but with about 120 products about 20 or so wont show the images. I checked the setup of them and i did nothing different to these than i did with the others.
Need some help please.

Could be an issue with large file sizes for the particular images (upload script timing out) or perhaps even with spaces in filenames (I've known some servers to have problems with that)
