Different body background color for each category page

Hello,

I looked every where and can't figure out how to change the background color depending on the category selected.

If I change the body color, it changes globally for all pages. I want specific category pages to have a specific backgrounds colors/image, can this be done? if so how?

This is something very simple that is often overlooked.

You need to create a new style sheet for each category. The name of the file is the key and will be based on the category id. To change the background of category ID 1, create a style sheet named c_1.css and include only the styles that you want to change.

The same principal can be applied to tjust about any page in your shop. This is explained in the css readme file in the default template css folder.
