    Default Getting an error when using LinkPoint

    Hi,

    I get the following error when checking out:

    We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives.

    I ran the curltest.php and I get the following:

    The only thing I do not have installed is an SSL certificate (but when I installed Zen Cart and it asked if I had one, I said no). Is that what is causing the issue, and if so how do I re-enable it? Or is the issue elsewhere?

    Run curltest.php again, but add the linkpoint test to it: curltest.php?linkpoint=1

    You've probably got port 1129 blocked in your hosting company's firewall.

    I control the firewall and the server so I've got out the outgoing ports open, and for the sake of this test the incoming port 1129 open as well on the public facing IP address. Is possible that because I do not have SSL installed I am getting this error (even though on the install I said no SSL)?

    When performing the curtest.php?linkpoint=1 I get the following results:

    Okay, that indicates a successful connection to the linkpoint server from your server.
    So, it should be able to process submitted transactions.

    I use 1.3.7 and 1.3.8 on our websites.
    Both of them worked fine until yesterday, when my customer got the same error message:

    That means your server is unable to connect to the linkpoint server, so it won't be able to do any transactions.
    Usually that's because the firewall port is not open.

    Thank you for answering so fast to my question.

    I contacted the hosting company about the port 29 that Zencart use for communicating with Linkpoint and received this answer:
    I have added port 29 in to firwall white list. Could you please check it and let me know if you need any further assistance.

    The connection problem is solved.
    Our host updated the firevall security and forget to enable the 1129 port.
    Everithing is restored and working fine.
