Default Setting up a canadian store/tax zones

I've never set a store before....I'm wondering....it's a store based it Canada...but my client wants to ship worldwide......do i only have to set up the taxes for all the canada provinces, with gst, pst, and hst, or do i need to charge everyone around the world by their specific tax zones....like california has an extra 7%, that sort of thing..

also does anyone know of a list of all the tax zones in the world? that would be very helpful.

    Thanks

    I have done that!
You need set up GHT,PST,HST zone and GST on shipping zone.
Then set provinces independently. There is good material here. I am not sure where its right now .
For other county I am not quite clear. Ask you client to check with Revenue Canada. It is no tax or 5% tax for other countries. I call no tax as it is going outside the country. Basically it is an export outside the country..

if your yearly sales will be greater than 31K then you must charge the Harmonized/GST sales tax in Canada.if not make site 'No Tax'
to your International and USA customers no sales tax.
As always call Canada Customs and Revenue Agency to be absolutely sure
