Hello.

Here's my problem:
When a customer enters their billing address, and uses the Zip+4, it creates an error situation and does not bill their credit card. They are advised to contact me. This has only happened a small number of times (most people just use a 5 digit zip), and so took me some time to see the pattern.
So, the question is, can I easily modify a file to change the field length in the Post/Zip Code field of the Billing Address to something less than 10 characters (in effect forcing them into a 5 digit zip), and, will that affect other addresses they may have stored. Or, alternatively, what would I edit to include a note NOT to use the Zip+4 when they are entering their zip in that field?
I found a php file using the developer toolkit function that defined that field as 10 characters. I changed it to 7 in 2 different places, but, it made no difference, so I reverted my changes. I am assuming that I will need to make a change in the MySQL database, but would like more direction from the guru's first! Thanks in advance!!!
