Your order Number is 0

Hi all,

I've look around here for awhile to no avail. Do you know any common solution for this:

After completing checkout "checkout success page" it says Your order number is 0, not the assinged number. And it the My Account section the real order number is listed, but on the checkout success its 0.

ANy idea?

I've found

<td class="main"><?php echo TEXT_YOUR_ORDER_NUMBER . (int)$orders->fields['orders_id']; ?></td>

but that looks normal....

any ideas

That commonly occurs when your store is set up to use Paypal Website Payments Standard (IPN) and PayPal is unable to notify your store of the new order before the customer gets back to your site. That's usually a result of Paypal's server not being able to successfully communicate to your server (in the background), which is required for particular payment module to work. You can troubleshoot it here: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/PayPal or you can use a different PayPal module or a different payment gateway.

I actually dont have Paypal enabled. Any other ideas?

I solved this issue by copying the contents of

includes\modules\pages\checkout_success\header_php.php

to the top of:

includes\templates\template_default\templates\tpl_checkout_success_default.php

Its clearly sketchy but it solved my problem

Doesn't make sense at all.

But, I guess if it works for you, then enjoy. I'd be inclined to look for addons (or otherwise) that have broken the normal operation of the code.
