Upgrading problem from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8

Here is my situation.

I have uploaded all the new 1.3.8a files, when I run the install file all I get is the INSTALL and RE-CHECK buttons no upgrade button. When I log into my admin home I have a pink line at the top that says:

Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.

When I go to Tool>Server Information I get Zen Cart 1.3.8a Database Patch Level 1.3.7.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't solved this the issue is because you have to be certain that your configuration files are correct, specially the database information:

---admin/includes/configure.php---
---includes/configure.php---

If they are not correct, the system won't detect any database in place and will understand there's no DB to upgrade.
