Default Admin menu bar disappeared after resetting Admin password

Ok - I moved my site from a "test" server to it's new home

Everything seem to go fine -
I did a fresh install of zen cart
I did a back up of my cart designed on another domain
I did a back up of the database using MyPhpAdmin
I reloaded all of my new files minus the two config files to the new site domain
I restored my database backup to the new area

Ok - so I try to go into the admin area and it doesn't take my user name and password.....so I run the query to reset it to the Admin/admin. It lets me into the admin are but I have NO admin tool bar. The only thing I can see is the line where it shows the date/time/admin home/online catalog etc etc and the stats in the main part of the page.

So I did a back up of the old SQL database that deals with the admin area and imported it again. Still didn't work and I did have to reset the admin password again using the query.

The "storefront" seems to work fine.

Please help me get my admin tool bar back!!!

    Thanks
    Mona

So I got a little further but still do NOT know what to do.

I ran the fix cache add on and it said it ran fine. Still no admin tool bar.

I ran the debug utility and here is what I got -
[31-Aug-2009 07:50:51] PHP Warning: define() expects at least 2 parameters, 1 given in /home7/bluesalt/public_html/monkeyenterprises/includes/languages/cherry_zen/english.php on line 78

I moved the site 9/8/09 so I am not sure if this affects it or not. I can NOT figure out what I should do with it but did run the fix cache utility again...no problems.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

those errors point to your english.php file.
first error indicates a define that has no parameters .other errors might be result from incorrect editing of english.php , such as missing ; or ' '

I review the english.php and couldn't find anything so I deleted the existing uploaded a fresh/original copy - still no admin menu nav bar.

So I pulled up the source code for the admin page and compared it to the admin source code for a site where the admin is working correctly and found a section missing. However, I don't know where to go to fix it or probably how. Here is the source code for the site that is misbehaving - the code is missing at <!--Menu bar #2.-->

Thanks for any direction to fix this that anyone can help me with!!

Maybe you've got the Admin Profiles addon installed, and your new admin account hasn't been granted any permissions? You might have to read the documentation from that addon for help adding default permissions. Or ask a question in that addon's support thread.
