specials not applying in shopping cart - troubleshoot help requested

hi guys,

my specials are showing up in my specials page, in the side box and everywhere they are meant to.

the main issue is when you add it to the shopping cart the original price is added, not the special price.

where do i begin to troubleshoot this? Is there a configuration setting I have to set somewhere?


This is the latest zencart release and the only add in is the MSRP add in:

But that just displays a value from the database - doesn't affect the order process at all.

sorry guys,

i don't know what i was on when i posted that but i'm not taking any more of it

when i came back to the problem with a good nights sleep - i fixed it quickly. I originally installed the MSRP mod incorrectly in my zombie state and put admin code in the catalogue section.
