Sites not retrieving info correctly

Here's the breakdown that myself and another person are experiencing.

We have been having an issue with Canpar shipping mod getting incorrect quotes on items. The bigger the item, the worse the quote (nearly half the correct price)

The problem is also seen using UPS module which I will explain.

Now this may just be a setting I am overlooking, and I appreciate if someone points it out.

Here's what I am finding.:

If I select: item - quantity=1 weight=5.3kg
Canpar and UPS modules show quantity=1 and weight=8kg.
Is there a markup for weight somewhere that I overlooked?

If I select: item - quantity=1 weight=100kg
Canpar and UPS modules show quantity=3 and weight=36kg

If I query using the url:
http://www.canpar.com/XML/BaseRateXM...c=0&put=0&xc=0
It comes back with 1 piece and 100kg.

Seems zencart is changing the pieces and weight when it shouldn't.

I'll keep looking and see if it is a setting on my end, but the other person is having the same issue on their site.

Please ignore - figured it out and it was only a setting change that was needed. Got a little help from someone.

Seems zencart is changing the pieces and weight when it shouldn't.

I believe the "BUG" is with your not checking all of your settings
admin > config > Shipping/Packaging > Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship
"Carriers have a max weight limit for a single package." ZenCart splits orders into seperate packages based upon the above
