Change sidebox title size?

I'm trying to learn Zen-cart 1.38, and in making my own template I have stumbled up on a problem where some of the sideboxes coloured area at the top, where the title is displayed varies in size and therefore does not look right.

I guess a picture would describe better so have attached one to this post.

As can be seen in the picture the 'Search' sidebox has this pink band which is not on the box below it.

This is on a standard install version 1.38a.

If anyone could offer me any advice on how I might eliminate this would be very grateful as i'm really struggling.

A screenshot is seldom as useful as being able to see the behavior live, especially in styling matters.

Your problem is probably with the fact that some sidebox headings are also links and some are <label> elements, both of which can have different font-size values applied.

I just had another look and did notice that the fonts look the same size, but all the boxes that have this problem start with a drop-down selection box or text input box.

Is there anything I can do to get round this problem or would it be better to just increase the box header background image to compensate?

Let us see your site and we can give a correct answer for this without guessing.

It may be due to a line-height value for a label or something like that.

Sadly I am having to create my site as 'localhost'. Over the next week I am planning to sort out some hosting for the site. When I get it sorted out i'll post back. I would really love to know what's causing this so as to learn more about how zen works

Install Firefox and its Web Developer and Firebug extensions. These will let you examine the page and find the elements used and the styling that applies to them.
