    Default Attribute Quantity

Is there a way a customer can specify the amount of a particular attribute they require?

I am setting up a website for my chocolate shop. The product is a box of chocolates - I've created each chocolate as an attribute, and would like customers to say they would like i.e. 3 of attribute a, 2 of attribute b etc. Is this possible in Zencart?

Using Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 although not live yet.

I believe this allows quantity boxes:

Thanks. I downloaded and installed, but now I get an error message :

    1364 Field 'configuration_description' doesn't have a default value
    in:
[INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, date_added) VALUES ('Attribute Grid Installed', 'CONFIG_ATTRIBUTE_OPTION_GRID_INSTALLED', 'true', now())]

And the product page no longer displays.

Anyone have an idea what I need to do to fix this one?

    Thanks

Well I managed to get it working!

For anyone else having this problem, here is what I did:

Went into the sql table 'configuration' - edited the field 'configuration_description' to allow nulls, then refreshed my site to load the module.

    Product page magically appears.

Then went back into the sql table 'configuration', browsed to the last entry on the table (Attribute Grid Installed) and manually added a description to the 'configuration_description' field.

Then edited the 'configuration_description' field to NOT NULL.

Not an ideal solution, but it worked for me (so far!)

It's all still working OK, obviously will do a lot more testing and if I run into any trouble will let you know.

This is my third install of this add-on and the first time i have ran into the error documented by supton.

Before i followed supton's solution, i thought i would try re-uploading all the files via FTP incase it was a bad transfer and save me fannying about with MYSQL..

It was, now everything works as it should again.. thank god! haha

Hope that helps someone in the future!

I'd tried installed the module after i installed and configured Flexible Attributes Module, http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1494 in my store.

Not only it didn't work but it actually got my Flexible Attributes configuration messed up. Lucky I did a backup in the affecting php files.

I'm not saying that this module is lousy but rather, perhaps I did not do it right.

Anyway, this is my the product page of my site:

    http://cplens.com/index.php?main_pag...f4eb8f4dccfe7b

I need to get the QTY attributes for both Right Eye and Left Eye add up in the shopping-cart's QTY.

Yes, I need to take out the default '1 item' in the shopping-cart and do something like

    (INT)QTY_ShoppingCart = (INT)QTY_RE + (INT)QTY_LE

NOTE: I don't know php coding but had learnt DarkBASIC coding back in my diploma course in games design and development.

Anyway, if I'm not wrong, the attributes values are TEXT values.

    PLEASE, anyone can help me?

    Thanks.
