Change Weight from lbs to kg

I have done this before but for the life of me I can't find it now on my new project.

I want to change from lbs to kg.

Where can I find this. I think its in the admin section somewhere but I just can't find it.

No. It's in your language files. Zen Cart has no internal understanding of different weight ranges. They're just labels defined in the language files to put next to the numbers that enter as weights.

Hi, I wanted to change the shipping weight to say KG instead of lbs. I followed the instruction here:

However, is there something else that I have to do? I opened the english file, changed both instances and uploaded it. It does show the change from lbs to KG but now whenever I click update cart or check out, I get a blank screen. If I revert the file to the old one with lbs, then it works fine. However I dont want it to say lbs I need it to say KG. Help please. Is there something else I need to change elsewhere?

This is almost always because the changes to the language files have introduced a syntax error. There's guidance in the FAQ on tracking it down.
