I am trying to find a simple and inexpensive way of solving a complex problem.
I have some military customers in Iraq and Afghanistan that want my cigars. I need to send them to an APO both directly and when folks donate cigars for them through our site.
99% of my products are shipped UPS which will not go to an APO. In addition PayPal will not accept an APO Address.
Unless someone has a better idea (I'm open to any), my plan was to:
1. Add the "in store pick-up" option to my shipping options at check-out.
2. Add the following text right under that options so only these special customer's use it:
"The "IN STORE PICK-UP" Option is available only for our military APO customers and other special needs. Please do not select this option unless you have first contacted us at [email protected]"
3. I would then have them select this option and "pay by check" so I could compute the shipping and send them an invoice.
Anyone have any idea how I can edit the template for the shipping page to add that comment?
If anyone has a simpler option let me know I'm all over that
