    red flag User logon fails

    Hello, My ZenCart has been working great for 9 months now, but . . .

    Now I have a problem. When I go to checkout, I get bounced to the, "Whoops! Your session has expired." Screen.
    When I Login again, I am returned to the home page with an empty shopping cart.

    I'm lost,

    I have searched and searched, I cannot find an answer to this problem . .
    When you log in there is no error, but you are not actually logged in, the cart does not hold items that you put there.
    I hope someone can help, my store is dead in the water.

    Your site is so slow I could die ...

    Check with your hosting provider to see what is wrong with your server ...

    What settings are you using in the Configuration ... Sessions ...

    What is the contents of the file, from the server, without your username and password for:
    /includes/configure.php

    and for the file:
    /admin/includes/configure.php

    Have you changed anything? Loaded any add ons, security patches, customizations etc. of any kind since this last worked?

    What version Zen Cart?

    What version MySQL?

    What version php?

    It appears that my host provider is working on my problem on their end. This problem could be with The SSL and Linkpoint.
    Server is back up and the problem still exists . . .

    I have not made any changes lately.
    I installed the recent patch after the problem, hoping that was it.

    Hello Oba-san

    My server is back up to speed.

    I still cannot get a login session to stick.

    The short of it is - when you login and then click any link with the exception of "My Account" you are no longer logged on.

    New users can sign-up new accounts. But that is all.

    I cannot read your configure.php file for the /admin/includes/configure.php for any comparison to see what might be the difference ...

    As a test, also change the:
    /includes/configure.php

    and set the:
    define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');
    to: false ... just to see if you can login with your SSL turned off ...

    Did you check with your host to see that the shared SSL is correct and working for your site?

    I have the same problem and SSL is OFF, but I found out that I cannot login in Firefox only; but i still can make login in explorer. It was the same for some time in admin, but when i cleared out all the cache (including cookies, history, etc.) it started to work. Maybe here is some other workaround, not only clearing the cache? I'm asking, because im planning to go this month to production and worry about such things for customers.
