application error require(DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php): failed to open

Hello...just applied the newest security patch to my site. The admin section is working fine, but I get the following error when accessing the store via the browser.

Warning: require(DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in (directory path)

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in (directory path)

    Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Most often, when you have trouble with your cart after installing the patch, it means you installed the patch files to the cart directories instead of the admin directories.

Nope, all updates were installed to the admin folders.

So ... you said "all updates were installed to the admin folders."
But ... your problem has to do with things NOT in the admin, right?
... which suggests that the problem has nothing to do with the admin patch at all.
So ... what *else* did you change before the problem started? via the browser.

After I placed all the patch files in the appropriate folders. I renamed the "admin" folder, as well and updated the config files to reflect this.

When I checked to see that the site was still up and running...well, it wasn't. :)

PS...I have since renamed the "admin" folder back to admin, same with config files...to see if that would get things working again with no luck.

How many "config" files did you touch?

    There are 2 configure.php files:
    /includes/configure.php (for storefront ONLY)
    /name-of-your-admin/includes/configure.php (for admin ONLY)

Both files have some similarities, but MANY important differences.
You should not have touched the non-admin version of the file when renaming your admin folder.

Just to make sure, renaming the admin folder only involves the admin/includes/configure.php, where you used the plural 'configure files'. ??

Just one other thing. I am still receiving the notice to download the patch in the admin. When I check my version, it says I am still running 1.3.7

    Any ideas why?
