Adding to cart from the product list fails

Hi,

this is a 1.3.7 version of ZC and adding to cart from the product list fails.
If I put a number of how many products and try to push enter or click the button, it goes to a page that says "empty cart".

I tested quickly if it would help to change to Classic template but that didn't resolve the issue either.
Is there this kind of a bug in 1.3.7? This shop will be of course upgraded as soon as possible but now it would be needed for a trade show where people would indeed use the product list to collect items to the shopping basket. No resources to make an upgrade right now (if it would solve this issue).

I was trying to find a forum list of possible bug fixes for 1.3.7 or anybody else asking about this same issue but couldn't find it.

Really nice if anybody could give some light on this issue! :)

A link to the site might help us, but I would search the forums for "your shopping cart is empty" to see many threads about the same problem, which seems to have multiple possible causes.

Do you have any kind of SEO mod installed?

Any redirects set up?

I searched all those possible forum answer, trying to read more. Lots of SSL related things, we have no https here, only http.
No additional SEO installed and doesn't work better with classic template either.
No redirects.

I can add the product into shopping cart from the product page but not from the product listing page.
My boss didn't let me to put the shop link here.

It should not be about the SSL because that is set in false.

I tried a solution about encrypt off as .htaccess file in the level public_html folder but that didn't help (read in another thread about it).

I tried to create a file called php.ini, in our shop directory
add: output_buffering = On , to the first line
But that didn't help either
(this was also from another thread)

So, from product page still works to add into the cart, not from product listing page.
