What's the best order for payment modules?

I'm just trying to find out what is the typical sort order to have these items displayed on my payment page... checkout_payment.php is the page I'm referring to. Right now I have:

1. Your Total
2. Gift Certificates
3. Discount Coupons
4. Payment Method
5. Order comments

Followed by the Continue button.

I'm just wondering, from a user experience standpoint, is this the best order to display these options? I keep thinking the payment method should be under Your total, but I may be sorely mistaken.

Does anybody have an opinion on this?

I'd leave it the way it is. Before the Gift Certificates and/or Discount Coupons are applied, it isn't your Total, it's your SubTotal.
