I am on DU and therefore spending a great deal of time online to work on my site is really not possible-

Since I have my site installed on my computer, trying to go live,
I would like to do all my tweeking and loading of product on my computer and then upload via filezilla.

Q?
I seems obvious if I add images or make chages to specific files which files to upload but if I change things via admin it is not so obvious.


Can I get some suggestions on this?

Hi, I was a litle bit confused by your question.

Are you going online to make changes in Admin? Do you have an example of a setting that you updated but then couldn't see the effect?

How have you installed Zen Cart on your local computer?

Things altered through the admin are written to the DB and not to files - - you woiuld have to backup you local DB and apply it to your live site - -

I have installed on my local computer via the manual's instructions. Have been tweeking for about 3 months and getting to know the program. So now I am reinstalling what I have on my host.
