Fedex Module - No Rates Returned

I have been using the Fedex Mod for almost a year now and have had no issues, over the alst few months it has been acting up.


Very often at checkout it gives the error message that no rates were returned by fedex and that maybe the fedex server is down.
It used to happen once in a great while, now it is happening to at least 1 customer per day.

Any ideas on what could be causing thsi to happen but not 100% of the time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I have the same problem.
I don't rely on FEDEX anymore for rates even though I ship most of our products by FEDEX.

My Fedex MOD has not been returning rates now for a few days at all and it takes about 2 full minutes for my zencart to even get tot the page where it says no rates returned. My customers are not waiting and not placing orders!

Who else out there is using the FedEx MOD? Is this is an isolated issue or is there server down????? Is ther any way we can get updates of when there server will be down so we can prepare? This is a seriosu issue for anyone who relies on ZenCart and uses this mod.

Sorry forgot to mention I am now getting:

No Rates Returned, 0911 : Resources are unavailable to service your request.

Any Ideas???

If your host recently upgraded to c-panel 11 it can break alot of things
they may need to recompile cURL

My host did upgrade recently.

I just checked my settings for my Fedex mod and it seemed like somehow after the upgarde it changed my setting from "production" server to "test" server. I changed it back and it seems to be working fine now. Very weird - didnt thing could change the settings I had in ZC.


If it starts acting up again how do I adjust the cUrl settings?

I was wondering if this will work ( if it still works at all ) with items that may require "Freight" or "Custom Critical" shipping.
Since I am drop shipping some products I kinda need it to be somewhat flexible
for the smaller items as well.

I may also get a discount on shipping fedex from my vendor.
Can this mod handle all of this or am I looking for more of a Miracle?
