Similar problem here.
I just moved the site from an apache2/php4/mysql4 server to an apache2/php5.2.9/mysql5.0.77 server. Zen version.php files says 1.3.8.
I've checked the paths and permissions (corrected cache paths), restarted apache, and installed the debug tool. I'm seeing debug messages like:

I was still able to work in Admin from one computer as long as it didn't time out, but now I can't get back in. I also get a blank page when trying to put anything into the shopping cart.

Correction: that's ZenCart 1.3.8a
Meantime, I've redirected dns to the original server until I get this squared away. Everything's working fine in that install. It's definitely something with php/apache or files/permissions, because both sets of files were running off the same MySQL db. I've now cloned the db just in case.
The files were manually moved using an external firewire drive from one server to the other, so I suspect something in how php5 handles certain things differently than php4 is at the bottom of this.Last edited by billc108; 21 Oct 2009 at 12:16 AM. Reason: added more detail
