I still haven't found anything to do this. There is Easy Populate but whoever wrote it won't let you do attributes. Which I think is ridiculous. I'm getting someone to look at the code and modify it to handle attributes for me but no idea when that will be done.
It's a pain as I just redid my site, and don't want to move the same database over. All I need is the customer info/orders/etc and products/attributes. It looks like the only was is to do it by hand...Grrr.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Do you know where i can find a user manual for Easy Populate please?
Visit Qacaq.com, your Online Jewelry Store in Malaysia .
Qacaq.com Australia - Your Gemstone Jewelry Store in Australia was launched.
I should add that you CAN purchase the other version of Easy Populate which I believe does do attributes...but if/when I can get a prog working I will definitely share.
The wiki for Easy Populate is at

It helped me alot to figure out how to use it.
Hi I'm a noob and figured out easy pop relatively quick once I downloaded the full ep file to edit. I had the same problem with the attributes but if most of your attributes are common to your products such as size color etc like mine you can just copy them over. I just went into the option name and values to set them up and then once I had configured my attributes for just one product I realized that you can copy attributes over to either a single product or a whole category so it wasn't too bad. I needed to copy them over to entire categories and it took only a few minutes. The only issue I have found so far is that my attribute images didn't copy over with my attributes but I will find an answer to that problem hopefully today.
I looked at the paid version of easy pop but after my discovery yesterday I guess I won't need to purchase it now.
