Default New install on a linux server

    Hi everyone,

    Help!!

I've jsut installed ZenCart on a linux server having had it run swimmingly on a windows one. I was unable to find a way to edit the CHMOD thing so my host said 'move to a linux server, it'll be much better'. So I did.

Not only did it not work at all afterwards (I wasn't too fussed as it was just to test it all out) I've come to install it properly now on my site and its just not working properly, and I have no clue what to do.

No images seem to be loading up! I'm baffled, and I really don't know what to do!

    the site is www.haunted-experience.co.uk/events

All of your help is very, very much appreciated.

    Cheers in advance,

    Ben

The site seems to be working for me. I guess you must've fixed it since posting this message?

I did note that it is giving a warning message that your configuration files are still writable though, so you still have a little more tweaking to do.

    Cheers

CHMOD isn't something you edit. It is a linux command that is used to set file permissions.

If your webhost gives you a control panel (cpanel, plesk, etc) this command is run behind the scenes whenever you select a file and choose the 'change permissions' option.

    Cheers
