Selling without managing stock

Is it possible to sell products without maintaining the stock info at product level?

Right now if i do not enter a value for what's in stock, the shop does not allow to put a product in the cart.

Thanks, I tried multiple settings.

Now the order is possible even when no stock is entered.

But the GUI still says that the product is not in stock.
That might confuse the customer.

Can i turn that off?

Providing a link help us from having to guess what it is/what page - you are referring to

Guessing you mean the units in stock

admin > catalog > Product Types > general > select edit layout > Show Quantity in Stock > set to false

That's what I needed now.
Also helps me to manage a few other things i was not happy with.
