Popup window on main page

I want to add a pop up window when the main page loads. I read the directions for page specific java scripts, but there is no folder for the main page under /includes/modules/pages/.

I can get the pop up to work be editing the header and main page templates, but then it pops ups every time a page is loaded.

I only want the pop up the very first time the main page is loaded.

Figured it out myself. Added the script to the html_header.php file then attached an onload event to a image in the body of the main page.

Works pretty good...
